This bicycle boasts a BB30 bottom bracket

BB30 BB30 is an oversize bottom bracket standard that boosts stiffness and decreases weight. BB30 bottom bracket bearings are pressed directly into compatible frames, meaning there are no heavy external cups to thread in. And, BB30 cranksets feature 30mm-diameter spindles (standard spindles are smaller) for greater pedaling efficiency and increased power transfer.

Best Bike for the Money

I put over 1500 miles on the bike, very comfortable. Changed out the saddle and added SPD pedals, overall let most of the stock components on the bike and love it. Only thing that I had to change is the bottom BB30.
