Description

CycleOps' Magneto is an innovative training tool to keep you fit, trim, and ready to ride no matter what the weather is like outside. It offers progressive resistance, which means the faster you go, the quicker the resistance ramps up, just like the real world. There is no adjustment necessary, and the resistance level automatically changes to give you a smooth, quiet ride. Plus, the frame is tough, sturdy and stable so you can ride as hard as you want.

Cons:
Best Uses:

I got this as a Christmas gift and absolutley love it! I miss my bike during winter and this thing is a near perfect substitue. It is very quiet for use indoors and very easy to set up. I use it several times a week for about an hour at a time and haven't had one problem. Also when your done it folds up nice and stores easily.

This is my first time using a trainer. It was easy to assemble and only took about 15 minutes to set up. Ride is stable and simulates road conditions well.

Very close to road conditions

Pros:
Adjustable, Easy to Install and Use, Stable
Cons:
Best Uses:

I just set up my new Magneto that I am using for training while I recover from a broken collar bone. It is surprisingly realistic. Of course acceleration happens much faster because I am only spinning up the back wheel. Slow down happens much faster as well. I would really like to have a chart that relates wheel speed in mph on the Magneto to watts.

Just bought and was on in 5 minutes. Spent some time on it with my tri-bike. Going to try with road bike later. I highly recommend. Very stable. Smooth increase in resistance, feels very close to real road.
