I crash tested this helmet by falling 10 feet off a wall and landing on my head. (MTB terrain park) I saw stars for a minute, but carried on for the rest of the day. The helmet actually broke into 9 pieces that were held in place by the shell. It worked perfectly and I'm alive. I was lucky, but using a top quality helmet is luck you can't afford not to have. Now I have an Atmos, better ventilation, but heavier than the Pneumo.
