Burley D'Lite

The D'Lite is Burley's flagship trailer and it's loaded with great features you'll love. It carries up to two kids and boasts a light and tough aluminum frame, a rugged perimeter cage, easy-rolling 20-inch aluminum wheels, and a plush seat with a washable, padded cushion, 5-point safety harness and reclining back. The D'Lite weighs just 27 pounds for super-easy towing and attaches to your bike in seconds with the secure hitch. Plus, there's an adjustable sunscreen as well as an elastomer suspension for an excellent ride. And, besides the kids, it holds up to three bags of groceries, has a helmet pocket and can handle a total load of up to 100 pounds. You'll also love the easy folding for storage (you remove the wheels by simply pushing a button), the parking brake and the height-adjustable handlebar that doubles as a roll bar.

    I bought one last year in late spring. I bike a minimum of twice a week during the summer. I bring my daughter with me whenever I can. She loves it. She is now 2 1/2. Fits great. It can get tight in there when her cousin rides along. He's a couple years older. I may have needed to make more adjustments to the seating than I did when there are 2 in the trailer. RIDE ON!

      I have had this trailer for over a year and still love it. I use it for my 3 and 5 year olds together, they really still enjoy it although it's getting a little tight in there by these ages. Pulling 70+ pounds of kid is remarkably easy and it handles so well I forget I am pulling someone. I love the storage in the back - perfect for a picnic and diaper bag or quick errand. The trailer folds quickly and stores easily, and is easy to connect to my bike. This is a quality product.

        What can you say about a product that you can use for years and sell it for close to the original purchase price years later. I have tried to find a used one, and there is a lot of overpriced junk out there.
